Update: Until September 21, you have the chance to obtain Driver Brown (Health ranger) when you clear a boss stage. Driver Cony is a random friend who appears to help. Not yet obtainable it seems, wonder if she will ever become obtainable.

*LOL*... what is this? Apparently the only thing the Yaris is good for is wasting fuel (and looking cute?). Driver Brown is a pure meat tank, over 2 million hp at lv 70. And he just pulls up to the front line very quickly and idles while taking hits -- how environmentally unfriendly! No attack? Just health? Very "safe driving" indeed.

ReplyDeleteThe game mechanic is very easy to figure out. I can calculate Rangers stats easily (if I don't mistake 5stars/4stars huhuh..) So you don't have to believe me, but what I calculate are the real stats.
A mastered Brown Driver will be 510Minerals, 2401245HP at level 70. For the cooldown I just counted myself (not very accurate) but around 16secs (8secs Mastered)
That's quite interesting, Stoop. Do you mind sharing how you calculate the numbers? I'm curious to know!

Wow! I finally got one. This is pretty much exactly what I needed--absolutely perfect! I've been severely lacking in the tank department. I struggle to keep just one or two tanks alive at the front lines, so who cares about the unit's damage? (I started last weekend and I'm on stage 132. I'll give a shot after I get 4 more Toyota Browns.)

ReplyDeleteI guess I'm not buying rubies anymore. I've got all mastered rare characters except kinmari cony, and I'm starting to lose a lot of battles. I'm level 95 right now. After spending all that money and I can't win most of the battles, I quit!
ReplyDeleteJavver, do you use any of the special powers during battle? Once battles become more difficult, I usually have a method that helps me win about 95% of the time. First release tank and splash rangers. Second use tornado and quickly freeze the enemies at their base. When your rangers reach the base the tanks will prevent the enemies from advancing and your splash rangers can take out the base. It has worked well for me but I still only get 80-100 rubies from battles.
ReplyDeleteHi! Last month I was pretty unbeatable using Edward, Chichi, Mully, Dumpy, and KSM or James, all mastered. This month, I took the leap again and mastered Erica and Muay Thai Brown. I got Kinmari Cony up to 65, but figured I'd just master her later since she's not a time limited ranger. Now, once I reach close to the 3000 mark, I'm losing approximately 30% of my battles. I would totally accept this if I didn't spend a ton of rubies to get nearly all mastered rangers. But to be at level 95 and to lose that frequently with the team I have is just not what I expected. I've tried mixing it up with all the other rare mastered rangers, but I still can't win like I used to. Oh well, such is the game.
DeleteTo answer your question, yes I've tried many different strategies with openings (like in chess!), and I always use special powers when needed (usually to counteract the enemy's powers). I have tried your method before with success, but it seems that the computer has gotten smarter with releasing their powers. When I do that, the computer will sometimes just cast freeze, invincible or tornado when I get close to render the strategy useless.
And this is another gripe I have the hackers or endless wallet guys just keep buying rubies so it's pretty impossible to get into the top 500 much less the top 100 unless you have deep wallets. Games shouldn't be a contest to see who has a bigger bank account imo.

The system is designed to entice players to spend as much money as possible to attain higher rankings. Spend to get to the top or just enjoy the game as it is. In other words, get over it already XD

I sorta agree with Javver, as it stands I can't get past 142 I would need Erica and my Kinnara maxed. My hitman still isn't maxed either. I'm using Erica 75 Muay Thai 80 Cherina 75 and SoCo Mastered and still lose at 142. I spent too much money already and now that we don't get rubies only when we advance levels has taken a lot of the fun out of this. I'm starting Line Get Rich cuz at least in that game Diamonds (equivalent of Rubies) can we won during normal games. Anyway if they give us daily rubies or weekly ones I think I'll continue.

DeleteThat said, it's disappointing to have all these mastered rangers and still not be able to be dominant in the battles. I had a lot of fun collecting mastered rangers throughout the months, but now I'm kind of regretting it. With the amount of money I spent, I could have bought a PS4 and a ton of games to go with it. Oh well...
Anyways, it's time for me to move on from Line Rangers. I'll still play, but just casually from now on.
Not only that! Now you can pass 143 using free rangers. I just did exactly that some hours ago, following the guide of master Wei S. I was on strike against this game, but this new ranger compelled me to come back, get it mastered and try that stage out, with proven success.
Delete144, on the other hand, is still pretty much impossible for free rangers, but they'll lower the difficulty and/or someone will find a way through. If they follow their own routine, they'll be releasing a new area very, very soon.

ReplyDeleteMy case exactly... I got one at 103rd try, then nothing until 260th... And then, when I was becoming really desperate with the farming, from feathers #313 to 326 I got the remaining three ones. And, of course, after that, I got many more.

DeleteSo far , I have blasted 45 feathers on stage 108 , and I have NOT gotten a single Yaris Brown yet. The biggest irony of it all was that I gotten four Xans within that 45 feathers.

It took me all told about 180 feathers to get all 5 driver Browns. I farmed a combination of 104, 108, 116, 120, 124 to keep myself from going numb of boredom. It's totally random it seems, so just keep at it!

DeleteClick on friend pictures, go one by one battling them all (that's free, it wwon't require neither recular nor special feathers). Repeat.
For each battle you'll get 50 fpoints = half a feather.
Hi Panic , so far what's your drop rate for Yaris Brown (in terms of feather expenditure) ? Did you get any sense that some stages drop Yaris Brown more often ?

Sorry I am not Mrs Panic but I give u a tip: All the boss scenes until 72nd stage have 3 given chars, it meant that driver brown drop rate here is a little better than another 4 rangers given stages, so stage 72 is the best place to farm to earn higher exp & coin.

Affirmation in Stage 108 you will never get Songster Cony (I wish so but it doesnt) you confused it with Witch Cony who is a speed ranger not a splash ranger like Songster Cony.
DeleteThe chance of getting the Toyota Brown is about the same as getting a 5 star ranger. Can't everyone be satisfied with that estimate? Well, for me it was a bit easier to get him than Xan or Masked Moon. Driver/Yaris/Toyota Brown is my first mastered ranger, and thanks to him I have now passed on into the Ravine of Death!

DeleteWell, for reference I have horrible luck with 5 stars. I leveled from player level 50 to 60 just trying to get one Masked Moon. My luck was better yesterday though.
DeleteI only spent 20 feathers or so and got no Toyota Browns. That said the drop rates are pretty bad, but I guess they want you to spend more money. I think I'm dropping this game in terms of paying. I'll only play with free stuff from now on in LR and going to other line games where the drop rates aren't insanely tiny.

ReplyDeleteI spent all my FP stock and > 400 feathers to get 5 Driver Brown. I kept battling stage 120, 124, 104, 72, 16,etc. I could master 7 Opera James and 3 Macho Moons :O. It took me a whole day to grind the stages. The last Driver Brown costed me ~150 feathers... such an unlucky streak

Try to follow the guidelines in the video accurately. I mean, for instance, don't start sending your units too early, or you'll trigger other kinds of enemies to appear.

DeleteI have just figured out the way to pass stage 138 & 139 with Xan, Sorcere Cony and Driver Brown. Very simple, to those whom not pass these stage: level up mineral to lev 5 then spamming rangers as order: Driver B -> Xan -> SoCo, repeat that step again and again untill all ur meat tank be killed, use invicibility and friend backup to clean front enemies, use freeze when ur rangers reach to the bosses, then repeat spamming ur rangers as above order until victory table disappear. ㅋㅋ
ReplyDeleteGot 5 Yaris Brown in about 60 tries at level 120. I pressed the stop button randomly for the first 25 time or so and got nothing, and then I began to calculate and press the stop button at right moment, and got all five within half a day. My wife got her 5 Yaris Brown with in 25 feathers farming level 120. She never use extra feathers or trade FP for feathers, but she is really good at pressing the button with a rhythm at the right time. So I guess after all, the random reward is not that random, and can be timed.

I think that's just being superstitious. Often in games like this, things which appear to be a casino-type mini game are actually predetermined and user-input does not matter. I'm not a fan of that sort of deception. I'm 99.9% sure it doesn't matter when you hit stop in Line Rangers. Here's another reason why:
DeleteIf you have a laggy phone, the roulette will sometimes show a certain prize before it starts spinning (Mike, Hunt, Tornado, whatever it is). When you hit stop, it goes back to the one it was showing.
I subscribe to this school of thought as well, Tom. But at the end of the day, people naturally like to have some measure of control over their fate and people will do the rituals they like to do. Without solid proof, no one can say what's right or wrong, so long as you play happily.
Deletei believe it can be timed, but you don't know whether your game is lagging or not so it's still hard to hit on the right times. i guess you need to have matrix-like movement reading to have the perfect timing
