Edit: New Rudolph Brown, Santa Moon, Carol Edward and... "Kevin" are here as the December rangers. The 3 LINE Friends are so cute in their holiday garb. Kevin has a silly Christmas tree t-shirt on which makes him borderline cute, I think. He's like a walrus without the tusks. Maybe he's a black bear? I'm not sure!
By the way here is how the Gacha panel picture looks for the next month, so it looks like Edward is once again the limited ranger. He's almost sure to be a splash type again. And he's still going to be screeching down the road on a vehicle since he lacks all appendages. Kevin might be a 3 star because he's off in the back of the picture. Poor odd kid left out. Brown looks reminiscent of Best Couple Brown so maybe he'll be a health ranger again. His punches shoot out Christmas trees, so I'd watch out for that attack!
Edit: they're all 5-star Rangers!
It remains to be seen if these rangers are worth getting, but I'd be interesting in having at least one of each since they're dressed for the season!

New rangers released, and many of the high ranks already mastering them. These new set of rangers are on a whole new level of over powered. Seriously 1 million atk points? Eddy the worm over 1 million splash dmg? Over 10 million hp? Wow. Guess it's over for free players haha.

ReplyDeleteKevin has more than 1M atk mastered and is a long ranger attacker. Santa Moon costs only 40 mineral and has about 500K HP (basically Scott/Glenn on steroid). Rudolph Brown probably is going to have 10M HP. And Carol Edward has more than 1M *SPLASH* ATK and close to 10M HP. (I knew because some of my so-called neighbours already has them.)
I'm at loss for words. (And seriously considering on purchasing some rubies.)

ReplyDeleteBut yeah, these numbers are insane now. Kevin knocks out Junior Cony easy, Rudolph blows away Somchai and even Chichi, Santa Moon just destroys every lowbie (though he stands really far from the enemy, I don't like that), and Edward is, well, Edward. PvP just got way harder.
Yeah, current 163 is really tough even I have HaCo 60; Driver Cony 65 but after tried more than 50 times I couldn't clear it.
DeleteI beat it finally. It was desperate and I used 3 rubies, but I'm done and I'm never doing it again. 75 Halloween, mastered Sorceror Cony, Scott, Rei, lvl 60 Santa Moon got me through somehow. Only use rubies if you get the second wave of fatties to really low hp, or else it's a waste. And believe me, I wasted a lot of rubies.

Been drawing pretty much nothing but farmables for the past five months, so I was super excited when I drew a Carol Edward! He's so incredibly cute and his animation is so delightful to watch - and thanks to him I finally defeated Safety :)!

Guys dont be sad. The thing about Carol is that he costs 1550 mineral at max, which means you need to level up mineral a few times to deploy him, meaning you are at a severe disadvantage already in PvP.

You can actually deploy Carol quite fast at Level 95 and above...

ReplyDeleteStrategy is to wait until new levels come out and they will lower the difficulty of the previous stages. Also newer Rangers usually accompany new levels so as long as you're not rushing to complete the levels, you can save some money and sanity.

i thought they would slowly increase the damage and hp of rangers. Since HaCo came out with ~488k damage and red with ~500k damage + 6m hp. the next should be around 500-600k with maybe 7m hp. NOPE. 12.9m hp for brown and 2m attack for edward.

DeleteEasiest way to clear 163 is to spam the enemies with mastered Santa moon and use your mastered carol Edward to destroy the enemies. Took me less than 1 min

DeleteJust tried to improve my PVP rank, already around 1700points, and on my 5 feathers, I lost 3 battles. Without any mastered OP rangers, this week it became hopeless. I mean, except a lack of time I could reach and stay at around 25000. I was planning to get under 20000. But I think I'll give up for a while. I have always been ok with OP rangers before (MT, Kinnara, Red..) but not anymore.

Everytime an opponent sends a carol edward, instant loss for me. Red and HaCo was manageable with free rangers, but this is near impossible against someone with 2m damage. Any ideas on what type of team comp to use against these new overpowered?

DeleteWell I think they might have employ some kind of damage-scaling system for splash ranger i.e the farther you are from the attacker, the less damage it inflicts. Of course that might include tower too (thats why the dude above said 90k santa did more dmg to tower than halloween)

ReplyDeleteGuys, the key to pass 165 is very simple without any item or friend backup (actually item and friend backup has no use in this stage - if you use them you'll lose sooner), it is the rhythm: send only one lowbie the the next one will be right after the first one died.

ReplyDeletePvP changed a LOT with Halloween's nerf. I basically can't kill a Rudolph Brown at all without items anymore. Carol Edward is annoying too, but oddly enough he can't knock back my lvl 75 Halloween even in 4 hits, so I can deal with him somewhat.
I think Line Ranger Devs were very kind to us in this event, because even free player from daily and PVP rubies also including 22 tickets, we could do the Xmas Spin 2 times.

DeleteHonestly, the developers of this game are pretty generous. They could just never give us free players any gems or gacha tickets whatsoever and restrict us to getting whatever four and five-stars are available to farm in the stages. In giving us numerous and frequent gifts, they're also losing many potential paying customers as many players choose to remain free because of these giveaways, using free gems and gacha tickets as their sole means of getting premium rangers.

ReplyDeleteAfter all, all the stage from 157-168 has buffed cause of new rangers, so it is a very very big challenge to those whom don't have HaCo or Driver Cony or Mastered Carol Edward.
The good news is if someone has Carol and Rudolph even at lv 60, you can farm 144 without item, without friend help.
How do you know that the last stages have been buffed?

ATK: 75184 (around 300 per mineral)
HP : 884388 (around 3537 per mineral)
He's only good when you need something like Honey or Chuck (or better melee Speed-Types), but don't have them, because he costs much more minerals (for a Speed-Type) than Honey and Chuck while wielding rather similar ATK and has HP that's only a bit higher than Honey and lower than Chuck.
What is the likelihood of having a second double chance in the middle of the month given that we have a whole month to obtain these limited rangers? And does double chance actually boost the odds of getting a five-star ranger in the 200 gem gacha?

Deletedouble time my @ss. at december 1st i buy rubies, spun the special gacha, and i got NONE of the limited christmas rangers. 13 rangers, double chance for limited ones, and i got none.
DeleteDouble 5* chances are only for the normal premium Gacha not the limited special Gacha and both have horrible chances to drop the real good rangers, It will be good to know how much $$$$ the players spend every month to get all the new rangers to lvl 80, It will be a good idea for an article, I think that many people are spending too much money in this game.
DeleteIt's not that much different from regular premium Gacha. It averages about $350-400 USD, which works out to be about 7 or 8 sets of the biggest package of rubies for sale during 30% more rubies bonus events.
DeleteHmm. So at $350, that's 3472 rubies. 17 spins of the gacha for 4 rangers... seems so far away from the usual 1-2 we get normally. It's sad because the new OP rangers really only are useful when they're mastered or close to it now (my 60 Red is pretty useless, actually), so that makes it all the more painful for free players or ones that spend less per month. We get a taste of the power, but can't really harness it.

ReplyDeleteYes you can, read the notice, you will have 1 Gacha200 spin, 1 Gacha20 spin and if Im not wrong another Gacha10 spin, the thing Im not sure why they say we cannot play the premium Gacha 6 times (the Gacha20) ???? why?? It ticket worth 10rubies so I dont see the problem of using the 23 tickets to play the Gacha20 11 times.

ReplyDeleteI highly doubt it. Usually gacha tickets only work on the 10/20 ruby gacha, and they've never allowed them on the 5+1 (mostly because they've never given out enough tickets for that purpose). The only chance that gacha tickets will work on the next seasonal special gacha is if they run another event like this.

ReplyDeleteHelp! I logged in the game today and some of my rangers disappeared! For example, I have a halloween cony that I was using in my rotation and I have a rudolf brown that I own but wasn't using. Anyone has this happened to them?
