Panic Plays the Gacha

Today, my region got 11 rubies for log-in bonus (10 new bonus + 1 daily log in) so I just got a total of 20 rubies. I figured it would be fun to record the wah-wah as I spend it and get some garbage rangers.

Why, Cony, why?

  1. Lol, I thought you got a rubbish ranger when I saw this post-the broken heart and all. .:)

    Nice one. . I'm jealous!!

BTW: And this is a bit off-topic, thanks for posting your user ID on this blog and for keeping strong rangers(KSM. Dancer, hip hop) available to help out. They helped me in big way this morning to finish stage 99.
I'm doing it all the 'free'(stingy) way lol

And now back on topic: I'm in the Oceania region (Australia) I also got 10 free rubbies today. Not only that we have a 5 rubby per day log-in bonus for the next 14 days. We usually have the typical 1 rubby log in bonus. . I was wondering: Do you guys in the US have that 14 day event?

    1. I vaguely saw something on my phone about 14 days of something regarding Line Rangers, but I didn't read "what" is going on for 14 days. I was hoping we'd get 10 rubies per day for the next two weeks, but I have no idea what we'll get. I'll let you know tomorrow lol

  2. You didn't read that message? It was like one sentence long lol :p . .10 Rubies would be awesome but I'm only getting 5.
Btw: I don't know why the heck I put to 'b's when spelling ruby earlier. . .

    1. Wasn't an option, sir. My notification only showed me like 5 words and when I clicked on it, it disappeared and launched Line Rangers lol I would have wanted to read it if I had a choice in the matter.

  6. Yep, I got 10 as well! Line Naver seems to be a very spontaneous and unpredictable/reactive company. I wonder if the even know what they are doing some times. As an example with this (admittedly cool) bonus ruby event I initially received a message on Wednesday Night(Australian Time) saying that there will be a 14 day '5' Ruby per day log-in bonus. Along with that message I received 5 Rubbies. That was on top of the regular 1 Ruby I received Wednesday morning for logging in. Then I log in on Thursday and Friday (today) and get 10 rubies each day. I now presume I will continue to get 10 Rubies for the remaining log in event. I have no idea why the initial message said 5 and I received 5 on Wednesday night But I'm glad I'm receiving 10 since Thursday.
I think I'll save these 100+ Rubies for the next Double 5 star chance event. . .

    1. That's an interesting point about Naver being a very reactive company. I read some interviews about the top dog at Naver and I got the impression that he's kind of driving without directions. The company is doing a lot of things that other companies have done, but they're packaging and marketing in a way that puts it above the rest in many ways, but its success seems to have surpassed their wildest expectations. Specifically with Line Rangers (I haven't played their other games religiously at all), I have a friend in the US who also got the mysterious 5 rubies at about 5am US central time. Then later at 10am (Japan midnight, game reset time) she got the 10 rubies + the 1 ruby. Whereas I slept through the night and only got the 11 rubies. And now we get the 10 rubies but not the 1 ruby anymore. It's like they're just winging it! Mayhem!

I am also planning on saving my rubies. Saving until at least 100. And then I cannot say whether I can hold out until the next double 5 star event... willpower :(

  7. I totally agree with the: "driving without directions" impression you got after reading up on those interviews. It's the same feeling I've had with Naver ever since I started playing there games, in particular line rangers. The other game I play is line Bubble maybe I'll send you an invite Lol.

This unpredictability is one of the reasons I'm holding out on spending money on this game. I don't want to pay $100+ in Rubies and still not save that cursed bird. I must admit though, this game has been pretty fun so far, I've been enjoying the challenge of defeating stages with the free rangers. Even if I end up getting some super strong guys I'll be still interested in seeing how far I can go with the free stuff.

In regards to saving these free Rubies we are currently getting, I might even hold out until they release even stronger rangers-just kidding:D

Thanks for your reply BTW , I enjoyed reading it:)
