Stage 104 & Stage 108 Video Trial

Videos

[Update: Looking for new Stage 104 and 108 video guides? Stage 104 video and Stage 108 video updated since ranger stat changes.]

Testing this out to see how it goes. I don't think Stage 104 is particularly difficult, especially with this team of "free" rangers, but I just made this video to see if it'd be what I want... I put some annotations on the video to point out some important things in the stage.

Here is the link in case it doesn't show for mobile viewers.

Line Rangers Stage 104 Clear - Common/Free Team

Here is a video I did of Stage 108. I did a voice cast of this game instead. I'm sort of trying that out as well.

I'm still working on an all-stage-obtainable "free" ranger team victory for the rest of the stages. Particularly Stage 108. There's also some funkiness about the stage. I've noticed there are about 2 or 3 different variations to the formation and ordering of the enemies in the stage (as you can see in the video above). I haven't figured out how it's triggered yet. Anyone else know?

  1. I use the same strategy with sol, alice, jessica, and xan as core. The fifth ranger could be anything, doesn't matter. Only diff is I start off deploying sol at level 4 mineral, then keep levelling up my minerals til max, then I deploy other rangers, works every time. I don't need any tools/friends.

    1. For 108? Are your Alice and Sol maxed? Those are my only two not at max. v.v* Still working on it...

    2. I think my Alice is just too low at the moment. With standard enemy formation, I manage better with Alice but I still can't bring down the tower before hurry up clubbers me. I'll work on it more.

    3. The problem yoh got with 2 evas are more of the same like old stage 60

There are times when only 1 Luki the elephant but the other times 2 luki comes together (the 2nd come not long after the 1st one)

I dont remember exactly, but i think our mineral upgrade or using friend at the beginning may tŕigger them

But there are no guarantee here

      See stage 76

Sometimes at the beginning we only fight 1 adi coupled with boom bird

But the other times a row of adi came out together (maybe 10 adi !!)

I just think the problem with stage 108 was same like stage 60 when 2 luki showed up together when i upgrade my max mineral or put friend at the beginning of stage. No one knows exactly but i just sharing it, anw nice video

    4. Well yes, it is a trigger like every other end-zone boss. The question is what triggers it. Still trying to pinpoint it.

    5. The 2nd Eva comes out as soon as you attack the enemy tower.

    6. And the key for a guarantee win is, you NEED to save the ice for the 2nd one.

Hurry up comes when the 1st eva is about to die (for me). That's when the army starts to come out. This is not a problem, and is even better because as long as you're moving forward, you're building up the army. But when your crew reaches the tower and the 2nd Eva appears, one hit from her, and your team is gone, and you won't be able to sustain the hoard of crap coming out from the tower. So the 2nd Eva needs to die before getting a chance to hit you.

    7. Thats not what panic talk about here

The 2nd eva will come out as soon as we hit the tower, yes true

But if you play old stage 60, current stage 76 you will see that sometimes there are 2 different beginning formation

Stage 76 is good for an example

Sometimes you only fight 1 adi the red jacket but the other times a row of adi (probably 10 or 15) came in 1st wave

Nah the question is what trigger it ?

I play stage 76 over and over then realize stage 76 beginning was random and no one can predict the beginning wave

  2. My Alice and Sol are at 70. Xan is around 60. For 104 and 108 the long rangers are useless because the sushi guy takes them all out in one shot.

On 108 I need to ice and tornado. Tornado to push back the 1st Eva. Ice to freeze the 2nd Eva.

104 I can pass it vanilla.

  3. Hey panic! First of all, you have an awesome blog about line rangers!, I'm currently in stage 107 stuck, and I'm trying to get alice and xan to farm them and try to pass that level. I was wondering if you have a trick or a way how you can have a better chance to get the five start rangers on the CLEAR BONUS Roulette?

    1. Thank you!
Sorry, unfortunately, no, nothing you can do to increase your chances (except during a bonus event but you you still have no control over it). The spinner result is predetermined, sadly. There's no "eyeballing" or rhythm that will give you an upper hand. There have been times gotten several 5 star Rangers in a row, and times have cleared over and over ten times with nothing but gold. Totally random.

  4. There are several tricks with stage 104:

    1. Sending a Hiphop/Glenn/Honey right off the bat will trigger the tylers and skip the first rice boss

    or

    2. Sending a hiphop exactly when the first boss makes two jumps, then sending KSM will trigger both bosses to appear (it's the right distance for KSM to still be able to hit the enemy base, but not far enough to trigger tylers). With freeze and KSM, both bosses can be dealt with pretty easily

    Triggers:
    - Tylers spawn when your units are very close to the enemy base and if the second boss hasn't spawned yet
    - Second boss appears when the enemy base is around 95% health

  5. I can't get pass Stage 104 because I have nothing invested in Tower HP. Using all items consecutively does not grant me sufficient time to kill the rice boss either. Is it absolutely necessary that I farm and invest in Tower HP just for this level?

    1. If you send something fast to the enemy tower at the start, the first Convini will not spawn. If you keep the second one firmly standing at the enemy tower, his splash will not hit your tower at all. However if I were you l, start investing in tower health ASAP. Many stages in Skyscraper have Richard the green dino and his splash is twice the range, and hitting your tower is unavoidable. Might as well prepare for it now.

  6. Thank you for your kind advice and taking the time to reply - much appreciated! Kudos to you for a great blog. People who take the time to go into the detail of the things they love are disposed to go far in life. Good luck!
