There are SIX new rangers coming. The new ranger unit files have been released for download.
Edward, Chichi, Mully, Brown, Cony and Elle
If last month's super-tight release is an indication, then the new rangers will be made available quite possibly at midnight JST of August 1.
Edward is definitely a 5 star ranger! Here's a new video (in Japanese) featuring Edward. Here is the same one in English.
As for the others... leaked info hints that Cony, Elle (elephant) and Mully (white...thing) are ranged units while the others are melee units. Edward is a psychopathic driver who runs over things, so my guess is a splash ranger.

New rangers sneak preview is now available. Since the maintenance on July 30 at 16:10, a new Gacha panel picture was downloaded and reveals 5 new rangers.
It would appear that cool delight Cony and lifeguard Brown are possibly 5 star rangers, and the break dancing chick and beanie boy in red pants may be 4 star rangers. My guess is that the innocent looking worm, Edward, is making his debut as the new 5-star ranger. We all know how deadly Luis' apples are... and Edward eats apples for breakfast. He's going to be so OP.
In Line Town, Edward is a good friend of Sally's so we have often wondered where he has been in the rescue effort. He has finally arrived! If the past has been any indication, the new rangers will be coming very shortly, and so will another Double 5-star Chance Event. There is no hint as to whether any of them are limited edition, but if anyone is, probably Edward. In the past, Ola and Susu were the featured rangers in the middle of the Gacha panel.

ReplyDeleteDepends. For Maze of Illusion area, definitely Shu for longer range. For pure damage, if you don't care about speed or range, then Opera James. For team battle, probably Shu for range.
DeleteLooking forward to seeing these guys in action.(Even though I'm not interested in getting them lol) I imagine the ice cream attack is going to be pretty damn tough, poor Brown. . . he knows exactly what I'm talking about!

ReplyDeleteI agree, I have an instant affection for them probably because of the familiarity with the stickers. I do hope that Brown, Cony and Edward are 5 stars and strong in today's game. I feel like Best Couple Brown and Cony were kind of filler junk because they weren't really great for anything in particular. I like our Line Friends to be in the spotlight :D

ReplyDeleteThey changed the daily login bonus to 5 rubies per day. So in a week that makes it 35 rubies. Down from 35 rubies plus some coins before the update.
ReplyDeleteJust got 1979 files. A new notice says the 5 rubies per day is a special event just for August.... what happens after that? No more login rubies?
ReplyDeleteThey change the login bonus situation every once in a while it used to be, months ago, that you'd be lucky if you log in and get extra yellow feathers. Then later we got daily coins. Then for a while we got 1 measly ruby a day, and not even all the time, plus it was always a surprise bonus, not an expected/pre-announced reward. For a while we were getting 5s and 10s.
DeleteEver since the "major" update introducing pvp, we have gotten 35 rubies for daily login per week plus some coins with the expectation that if you are diligent all week you definitely get rewarded. Some people may view it as more fair to get 5 per day instead of a 20 ruby penalty for missing a single day. There's really no telling what they will do after August. Readjust the amount? Give us something else instead of rubies? Back to giving us nothing? Only time will tell. But it is trending toward giving us more valuable gifts, not less.
Me? I count it as a win already that they are telling us in advance what we are getting. The increase of notices in general have pleased me quite a bit.

Got myself edward :), crazy ranger, his splash area is wide and does so much to tower lol. fast movement slow attack rate, 2mill hp and 100k ish atk at lvl65

ReplyDeleteGot ChiChi when I was hoping for Summer Brown. She has 2209928 hp and 223861 attack at level 60. She also costs 920 gems, Balance type, Attack speed slow, and Movement speed fast.
ReplyDeleteGot the cute little driver. Edward is a splash ranger, he had 15000 atk at lvl. 1 and around 338k HP, he's so damn pricey though, 1200 minerals at lvl.60. I can't imagine just how much it'll take to deploy him once he'd been mastered. Anyway, just a bit of an info, Edward used to be a speed ranger, he's a speed ranger when I first got him, then a few minutes later, he's morphed into a splash ranger. Lol. I was curious about chichi and mully (or whatever the guy with red pants' name was), can someone gave their stats out?
